Seaside offers $100,000 @ 0% to build your ADU!
To be eligible for the program, homeowners must meet the following criteria:
- Live in the main home or ADU
- Have a minimum 620 credit score
- Have a household income that does not exceed 80% of Monterey County's Area Median Income (AMI) adjusted by household size homeowners to renovate, rehabilitate, or construct Accessory Dwelling Units.
Financial Freedom
The City of Seaside also has a FLIP Seaside Program that provides a 75% matching grant, up to $7,500 for projects over $10,000, to help fund façade improvements to storefronts. This program could be used to fund façade improvements to an ADU that is being built or renovated on the ground floor of a commercial building.
